Fit cleaning between movements

Record pallet debris, end-cap turns, dock thresholds and the time available between replenishment waves. Trial pickup through the turns where speed and water recovery are most likely to vary.

Retail

Reopen without leaving a wet route

Evaluate maneuvering around fixtures, acoustic expectations and dry pickup near customer paths. The route test should include polished surfaces and transitions, not only an open demonstration patch.

Food production

Align the method with hygiene controls

Confirm compatible chemistry, floor condition, drain rules and cleaning-zone separation. Equipment selection does not replace the site sanitation plan or validated process for the production environment.

Plan around access and visibility

Map pedestrian flows, ramps, lifts and emergency routes. Noise, sightlines and safe separation can set practical limits even when the floor area suggests a larger machine.

What to prove during the demonstration

Scenario 01 · mixed debris

Do not confuse sweeping with scrubbing

Loose packaging fragments can obstruct a scrub deck and reduce pickup. Compare a pre-sweep step, a cylindrical approach where appropriate, and the facility’s actual debris-control routine. Record what must happen before wet cleaning begins.

Use a representative debris sample.
Inspect the deck and recovery path after the run.
Include disposal and washout time in the cycle.

Scenario 02 · delicate finish

More pressure can produce the wrong outcome

Aggressive pads, unsuitable chemicals or repeated passes can alter a finish. Start with the least aggressive documented method, test a controlled patch and have the facility owner approve the appearance before expanding the route.

Identify coating and maintenance history.
Record pad, chemical concentration and dwell.
Inspect after the agreed drying interval.

Scenario 03 · short operating window

Coverage excludes hidden handling time

Nominal productivity does not include filling, travel to the route, recovery disposal, charging or end-of-shift care. Time the complete cycle under the site’s access rules before using coverage figures in a staffing decision.

Begin and end at the storage point.
Use normal lift and doorway access.
Log interruptions rather than removing them.
